  1. 1 I hate the Liberal Media

That witch had it coming. Bush should’ve had her ass thrown out of the press conference by the secret service.

eh, he’s a prick and press conferences are wastes of time, any information they are going to let out, they’ll let out in carefully written papers… talking wont bring any additional information to light

what is the additional information you want to know? are their more details about terrorists you need before declaring them worth fighting? the AP tells you about all the body counts already - im sure that makes for good recitations in anti-war circles

what the media doesn’t want to give you is information on any of the successes in the war on terror, the troop surge worked and now al qaeda is being squashed in a major offensive in afghanistan

leaving the middle east is not going to convince the muslim extremists to stop hating jews and blowing up children

this is war and we are fighting an enemy who doesn’t care about politics or rules; stop hating on the president, he has kept us safe thus far

and this woman, whether she likes bush or not, was stepping over the line by interrupting him; did she forget that she was interrupting the leader of the free world?

this situation is flawed but the continual name calling and blame-game is borderline ridiculous and completely counter-productive

i dont think it’s him that’s kept us safe and the only thing that’s going to convince extremists to stop hating jews and blowing up children is the apocalypse or zombocalypse as the case may be… and even then its iffy

he is the commander and chief of the military and responsible for national security, hes also giving power to the people who need to do their jobs

  6. 6 claire

any president give that power, he’s done nothing extraordinary as you suggested… he’s not out there pushing papers and going through mounds of intelligence reports.. the system in action has kept us safe, not the efforts of one gallant individual

yes but that’s like saying no presidents deserve recognition because they didn’t do it alone

someone has to lead the whole organization and make decisions, you can’t say the president isn’t busy; theres a constant schedule of tasks to be done - if he had to look through papers all day he wouldnt have time for anything else, it has to be a cooperative effort, just because he’s the CEO doesnt mean he cant be credited, hell they blame him enough for it anyway
